Iwata 10 Year Warranty

Beware of cheap imports and fakes!

10YRwarranty300.jpgAs with most things in life today, you cannot guarantee something is exactly what it seems. This applies to our products as well as those of other famous high street retailers. The art  (if that's what it can be called) of copying and selling fake items started back in the 1970's with the infamous Rolex watches coming in from the Far East. Now it seems as though even honest model makers have to be aware that all may not be what it seems. Even airbrushes and compressor have not escaped the copiers and imatators. There are certain online retailers offering either copies or grey market imports of Iwata's superb airbrush and compressor range. We would like to point out that we at GraphicAir online are not one of them

GraphicAir online are a registered retailer of GENUINE Iwata airbrushes. All genunine Iwata airbrushes are warranted by Iwata-Medea against all manufacturing defects of materials and manufacture or workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase, which is now extended by the the UK distributor - Airbrush Company Ltd to 10 years. This warranty does not cover fluid needles or fluid nozzles since these parts need to be replaced occasionally due to normal wear. Any other part or material that is or becomes defective so as not to be usable within this period will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence or airbrushes which have been altered or abused in any way. It also does not cover cleaning or servicing.

To ensure that you get the best Your UK warranty is with The Airbrush Company Ltd, the UK distributor for Iwata airbrushes and compressors. Your 5 year Iwata-Medea warranty is only valid in the UK if you have purchased your airbrush from an authorised UK reseller such as GraphicAir online, and you have proof of purchase date. Your 10 year extended warranty is only vaid in the UK if you return the warranty registration form to the Airbrush Company Ltd with a copy of your proof of purchase. From December 2006, if your new Iwata airbrush does not come with a UK warranty registration form, then it is likely that the dealer you purchased it from is selling 'grey imports' and the official Iwata warranty will only be valid in the country they imported it from. Please contact the Airbrush Company if you wish to confirm the company you are purchasing from, or have purchased your Iwata airbrush from, is an authorised UK reseller. If you have purchased your Iwata airbrush from a dealer in another country, your warranty will be valid in that country and you will need to return it to the place you bought it for repair or replacement under warranty.

Please contact either GraphicAir online or the Airbrush Company before returning an airbrush for the appropriate procedure for warranty repairs.
