Medea™ Textile Colours, designed by renowned textile and fine artist Jürek, are suited to all artists, from beginners to the most demanding professionals. The new black and white colours are low in viscosity, yet very opaque, and spray better than ever. "The Lube" special flow enhancer means no clogging and better fabric absorption.

Tinting White:Used for general painting where different levels of opacity are needed. Tinting White is used as a weaker (less opaque) white to build final highlights. It is also used to sketch on black fabric, leather, denim or canvas. Adding tinting white to any transparent colour will result in increased opacity of pastel colours.

Heat Setting: Heat setting is a final, very important, step in decorating fabric and leather. For synthetic fabric, consult the manufacturer, or test small areas first. Always make sure the paint is dry before heat setting.

• Silk Screen Infrared Heat Conveyor - 2 minutes at 320 to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Transfer heat press – 30 seconds at 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Test your press periodically for proper temperature read out – consult with manufacturer.
• Iron – Cotton or highest setting for 2 minutes for each area covered by the size of the iron. Do not iron directly onto the painted surface. Protect it with a cloth. Use circular motion to avoid “hot spots” that can burn the fabric.
• Industrial Heat Gun– 1000 degrees Fahrenheit in circular motion at 2 inch (5 cm) distance, for 30 seconds on each 5 inch (13cm) by 7 inch (18cm) area.

Washing:For best results hand washing is strongly recommended. Machine washing is too abrasive for delicate work and garments as well. Your Art commands respect!

This versatile paint is made with select, high-grade pigments specifically designed for use in the finest aibrushes. Medea Textile Colour is the only textile paint that can be used in an Iwata Custom Micron B with 0.18mm nozzle.

“The Lube”: Special Flow Enhancer
Medea Textile Paint by Jürek uses modern technology to eliminate clogging. We call this new technology “The Lube”. It is not just an additive mixed with existing paint, but rather a whole chemical design of the base of the paint. This special base acts as a flow enhancement that allows the paint to be free from the hassles of clogging. So more time spraying and less time cleaning your airbrush. The flow enhancer breaks down the viscosity of the paint, resulting in better spray and better absorption of paint into fabrics. The absorption into fabrics is the key for success in fabric arts. The colours must penetrate t he fibres to ensure vivid colours and, most importantly, proper wash-fastness.
