Rainbow Dust Food Paint is an edible metallic food paint great for almost all cake decorations. It can be used across flowerpaste, modelling paste and sugarpaste. You can use it on tiny ornaments and sugar flowers to complete covering of cakes.

There is a large choice of colours (14 colours available  ) in the range, as well as Rainbow Dust Metallic Food Paint - Set of 10 (25ml) of the most popular colours.

Rainbow dust metallic paints can be applied using a small brush for detail work, sponged on for larger areas using the Rainbow Dust EasyCover Paint Sponge or for the best finish sprayed through an Airbrushes

Please note: We recommend using an airbrush with at least a 0.35mm nozzle/needle set up for this product.

Coverage guide using a sponge:
Half a bottle (approx 12ml) of paint was used to cover an 8 inch round cake (3 inch deep) which was sat on a 10 inch drum, also covered in sugarpaste. Two coats were applied to get an even metallic finish.

Coverage guide using an airbrush (for gold wedding cake pictured above):
Half a bottle (approx 12ml) of paint was used to cover a 5, 7, and 9 inch round cake (stacked first and then airbrushed). Only one coat was needed to get an even metallic finish.

Rainbow Dust formula is a ready to use, water-based food paint with radient metallic colours.  To clean after use simply rinse your brush or run your sponge under warm water for clean results. When cleaning your airbrush, also spray through some Kopykake Airbrush Cleaner - 9oz.   Once dry the lustre pigment is sealed within the surface - no dust or smudges! Apply with a brush for fine detail work or a sponge for larger area coverage.

To avoid the metallic paint clogging your airbrush after use we recommend that airbrushes are cleaned immediately after use.We strongly advise cleaning the
